  • I was looking for a traditional Mousakas and here i was able to found it! I was surprise because everyone told me that in the center you will not find a good mousaka, but they forgot about To Kati Allo. If you are in the center, don’t want to waste time going outside and you want to eat a real mousaka, here is the place. We also got the Feta, really good for an appetizer for 2/3 persons.

  • To Kati Allo – A Taste of True Greek Hospitality If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine that tastes just like home, To Kati Allo is the place to go. We visited while vacationing in Greece, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. The meals were comforting, flavorful, and genuinely reminded me of my mother’s cooking—hearty, soulful, and made with love. This is a family-owned and run gem, and it shows in every detail. The service was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and attentive. You feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Through some online research, I found it listed among the top 12 restaurants in Athens—and now I completely understand why. It’s absolutely amazing. Whether you're staying nearby or even a bit further out, it's worth the walk or drive. I highly recommend To Kati Allo and will definitely be returning next time I'm in Athens. Tasso and family from Canada thank you for the unforgettable experience!

  • A lovely family restaurant near the Acropolis. Great choices of traditional Greek food. Everyone was so nice and attentive. This area has a lot of restaurants with tourist prices but you'll have an authentic and more affordable experience here!

  • I found this hidden gem in Athens — a small, tavern-style restaurant that feels like a true mom-and-pop place with amazing food. We had the moussaka and the beef stew, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions are smaller and more normal compared to many other restaurants, which is perfect for lighter eaters. If you’re hungrier, you can always order two dishes . Almost all dishes are under €10, which makes this place excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, homemade-style Greek food.

  • Excellent home style restaurant, and great prices! Mama cooks, son waits tables, and it’s fantastic if you like this style of place. If you want a fancy tourist place, this is not it. Recommend to get whatever is fresh in the warming tray when you walk in. We got Mousaka, the giant beans, and he let me do a plate with a stuffed zucchini and a stuffed red pepper! The pork and whole fish also looked great. Also got water and a 250 of white wine all for 27€!
